The hall is owned and run by a charity for the benefit of the local community. The hall receives no external funding at all.
All the funds necessary for the running of the hall, and providing for its secure future, are handled by the management committee.
The management committee is a small but dedicated team of trustees, who with a couple of volunteers with specialist skills, oversee the running of the hall.
They are able assisted by a number of part time volunteers who are essential in the day to day running of the bookings. Dealing with welcoming in our various hirers, and dealing with any day to day issues that arise.
Our thanks go out to everybody concerned in keeping this hall such a great benefit to the community.

LABC Regional Awards
Parkside Community Hall won the best Public Service Building category in the LABC Regional Awards in May 2014, just 6 months after the hall re-opened after its refurbishment.
The designer was Marc Friend (Friend Associates Ltd), who is based in Ampthill.
